I believe in an ethical and harm free training environment and thus i have the right to refuse service if i believe the training is not in the animals best interest. Dogs and their welfare are my priority, thankyou for you understanding.

My whole life dogs have been a calming and positive influence in my life and after my Autism diagnosis at 36 i found myself in a very tight spot mentally.

My Autism makes it very hard for me to fit in with humans as with many neurodivergents and due to this i jumped from job to job my whole life, never really understanding why i would collapse after 3 months of what seemed to be a normal job.

After my diagnosis i was forced to look at what drove me and the answer i came to was my passion and love for the dogs in my life. I had a hard desicion when i was younger due to my transient lifestyle and had to put down my old blue heeler once her dementia had set in. It was at this point i realised how much joy i could get out of fostering pups and to this point i have had 19 successful rehomes.

Taking this and my work with some top working dog trainers i want to improve peoples relationships with their dogs and make things easier for both them and the dog.

In the long run my goal is to try to keep as many dogs from being rehomed as possible. And hopefully one day run my very own shelter

Through my platform here i also want to stress that without my autism i wouldnt have the relationship i have with dogs and if anyone has any questions regarding autism or neurodiversity in general please dont be afraid to send me a msg or call me. Autism is in a sense my power and i want to be able to help people understand that as much as possible.

Some recent reviews from Clients.

Matt was absolutely wonderful with my dog for training. He had a calming presence and was clearly knowledgeable; I could see the difference with my dog right away. Matt seemed very attuned and explained my dog's reactive behaviours and offered strategies to address in the first session. He also highlighted strengths in my dog which I had not previously identified and this also helped a lot. A wonderful dog trainer who clearly genuinely loves and is good at what he does. - Kamelia Todorov

Matt came to our house to help with Ringo, Rodesian ridgeback cross american staffy, who had resource guarding and fence aggression issues. we worked on these plus teaching Ringo that we are in control not him which has brought our relationship with him to a greater level. We have adopted him about 10 months ago and with his regular training and Matts help he is improving out of site. I cannot thank Matt enough for his help and friendship.  I would highly recommend  Matt for any dog behaviour issues or general training - Micheal Jolly

My beautiful boy Max has come along in leaps and bounds with help and advice from Matt.  Max has separation anxiety and is known to howl when I leave him. With Matt's help we are progressing really well and within 1 week Max's howling has diminished by about 90%. I am extremely happy! We are also working on barking and that is coming along nicely too. - Adele Graham
